The Isle of Wight Floating Bridge annual refit will take place from Monday 24th March to Thursday 3rd April.

This years refit works will include lifting eye examinations, replacement of the Novec fire suppression cannisters, replacing the hull anodes, an inspection of the drive motors, inspection of the voids and replacement of void space pipework, replacement of the drive segments which hold the chain allowing for movement, a chain guidewheel service, an overhaul of the West and East prow cylinders and a filter change.

A launch for foot passengers and cyclists will be in operation whilst these works take place. Please note the launch will operate from 05:00Hours until 22:50Hours Monday to Saturday and from 06:30Hours to 22:50Hours on Sunday.

Vehicles will be unable to travel during these dates.
